We’re Ivy and Joy, the two friends behind Reveriee.
Our story began long before Reveriee did.
We grew up together, and somewhere around middle school, we started quietly testing the edges of who we were — and of what we could share with each other. But it wasn’t until college, when we had grown into our own personalities, values, and ideas about the world, that we finally felt brave enough to be completely honest with each other.
What followed was years of conversations, curiosity, and sharing the things we were discovering about ourselves, our bodies, relationships, and desire.
Those conversations eventually became something bigger.
As we grew, our curiosity also led us to care more deeply about openness, body awareness, and helping people feel more comfortable understanding themselves. In different ways, we found ourselves involved in communities, education, and projects that shared that same belief: that knowing yourself is something worth celebrating.
Reveriee grew from that journey.
We are both more naturally on the submissive side, so we created Reveriee first and foremost from the perspective of people who actually enjoy these experiences — not as outsiders designing something simply to sell.
And that matters to us.
We never wanted to make products that were only about function. We wanted them to feel beautiful, personal, and full of anticipation.
Because we believe the magic isn't only in what happens during the experience.
Sometimes, the story begins much earlier — with the moment you first begin to understand a part of yourself, the courage it takes to talk about it, the uncertainty of finding someone you trust, or the quiet excitement of sharing something new with a partner. There is something special in those first conversations, the mutual curiosity, the little moments of testing the waters, and the nervous anticipation before finally taking that first step together.
And sometimes, the story continues long after.
For us, creating something at Reveriee feels much the same. The story isn't only in using the piece itself. It's in finding something that feels like you, wondering what it might be like, placing the order, waiting for it to arrive, opening the package for the first time, feeling the leather in your hands, sharing it with someone you trust — or keeping that moment entirely for yourself.
Those quiet, private feelings are the part we care about most.
Because we believe they are part of the experience, too.
The name Reveriee comes from the idea of a reverie — a dream, a private world you can disappear into for a while.
In a way, that's what we're doing here.
We're taking some of the dreams we carried when we were younger and giving them a place in the real world — through leather, through design, and through the stories people create with our pieces.
We hope Reveriee can be that place for you, too.
